Why Linton Robertson? Linton Robertson is named after my mother, whose middle and maiden name it was. Since 2012, it has been a business built on private client sales in the wine and whisky industries. Who am I? I'm Julia Hall, based in Edinburgh. My career began in the wine trade in London in 2006, and I spent time in Hong Kong supporting the office there. I was fortunate to travel widely and meet clients around the world. For the last ten years, I've worked in Scotch whisky, where I've bottled private labels, arranged exclusive tours for clients, secured planning permission for a distillery outside Edinburgh, and curated a weekend whisky festival in the Highlands. It's been a wonderful journey, and I'm still enjoying every part of it. So thats two decades and counting on the Wine and Whisky Industry, and so much more to come.
